Suretyship — principal debtor procures loan from plaintiff — defendant guaranteed that principal debtors repaid a portion of the loan — new agreement in terms of which principal debtors would repay balance of loan in instalments — summons issued against principal debtors — judgment entered against principal debtors who continued to pay in instalments — plaintiff then issued summons against defendant for the balance outstanding — whether new agreement had any effect at all on the old agreement in extending time in which principal debtors were to repay the loan — whether such extension of time released the surety.
